Hypnos offers a choice of sprung or platform top divans. Platform top bases deliver a firm, supportive feel, while sprung bases work in harmony with the mattress to offer a more medium level of comfort.
Divan bed bases typically consist of two sections securely connected with a bracket. Deep divan bases also provide valuable storage options to meet the practical needs of your bedroom. Our Hideaway™ and SuperStorage™ bases are both platform-top designs, offering a smart and efficient way to make use of the space beneath your mattress.
Like deep bases, shallow divans are available with either a sprung or platform top and can create a sleek, minimalist look when paired with a carefully chosen set of legs.
Choose between a deep pocket sprung divan base with a firm edge and integrated springs in the sleeping area for enhanced comfort, or a platform top divan base for a firmer, more supportive feel.
For extra comfort and support right up to the edge of the bed, with springs covering the sleeping area, but with a timber outer edge.
For a firmer feel, we recommend the solid top divan base, which has no pocket springs.
