Wool is a natural, renewable and biodegradable fibre that’s ideal for mattresses—regulating body temperature, absorbing VOCs, and promoting a healthier sleep environment.
Since 2019, Hypnos has partnered with The Woolkeepers® to source 100% British wool that’s fully traceable back to Red Tractor-assured farms. This ensures high standards of animal welfare, environmental care, and full supply chain transparency.
Hypnos pays farmers fairly and promptly, supporting sustainable farming and long-term investment.
Today, all wool used is certified by the Responsible Wool Standard, with each stage—farming, shearing, grading, and processing—audited and handled by experts. Once delivered to Hypnos’ Buckinghamshire workshop, it becomes part of every handcrafted mattress.
